Save the Date: VBMF’s Trick AND Treat Giveaway

 

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the Veronica Blount Memorial Foundation will bring our 1 For Every 1 Blood Pressure Monitor Giveaway Program to Atlanta residents for a special Trick AND Treat Giveaway as a part of Greenbriar Mall's Fall Festival.

 

The “trick” is learning how to properly use a blood pressure monitor. The “treat” is helping eligible families who do not already have a monitor, take home a free monitor of their own. Registered nurses and volunteers will also provide free blood pressure screenings and practical education to help residents better understand and manage their numbers.

 

During this year’s Red Shoe Lunch, many of you generously donated $67 to Adopt a Home. Your support made this giveaway possible. We are honored to put those contributions to work exactly as promised—placing potentially lifesaving blood pressure monitors directly into homes that need them.

 

To be a part of the Fall Festival, we are required to distribute candy to children visiting the festival. We would like to provide healthier options and can use your help. Please consider helping us purchase snacks for the children. We have created an Amazon Registry making it easier for you to purchase items from our list.
